Administration Assistant for Packyourbags Team
 

Are you an experienced Reservations Administrator?

If so a fastest growing, award winning, independent Travel Management company based in Tunbridge Wells Kent are looking for an Administration Assistant to join their call centre sales team.

If you are someone with experience as a Retail Travel administrator, consultant, or you have customer service background within retail travel, we would like ot hear from you.

However this role may suit someone who is wanting to make the cross over from a Reservations Consultant, Retail Travel Advisor, Sales Consultant or Travel Consultant role into an administration position.

Travel Agency Administrator Responsibilities:

  • Maintain client data entries & amendments.
  • Co-ordinate & prioritise sales admin.
  • Provide first class customer service
  • Sales support for Travel Consultants
  • Checking customer itineraries, flight bookings etc
  • Preparing travel documentation for customers
  • Effectively manage incoming and outgoing mail
  • Input of bookings on to the in house system
  • Providing general administrative support to busy travel agency call centre

Travel Agent Administrator Skills required:

  • Understanding of terms and conditions of products sold.
  • Excellent communicator.
  • Team Player.
  • Customer service orientated.
  • Computer literate.
  • Passion for the travel industry, ambition and a real desire to succeed are a must!

Business Development Executive
 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Executive to work for an independent corporate travel company selling a business travel management solution to clients.

As a Business Development Executive you will be responsible for pro-actively developing and increasing the business by following up leads, meeting clients, closing deals, account managing existing clients and promoting the companies professional business travel services.

You will be expected to make contact initially by phone and then following up potential leads with face to face presentations. You will be a presentable, self motivated, organised and pro-active individual who possesses a proven track record in sales. You will be conversant using Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint applications.

As a Business Development Executive you will undertake an array of tasks & responsibilities: Identify new opportunities and products to grow current revenue within all allocated accounts.

  • Maintain complete customer satisfaction.
  • Understand our competitors products and offerings
  • Identify and establish contact with key decision makers
  • Oversee effective implementation of new accounts
  • Excellent communications skills written and verbal.
  • Knowledge and experience of a CRS
  • Knowledge of travel industry processes

The role will also involve tender writing, attending company and client functions in order to aid business development and managing your own telemarketing campaigns.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the company's products and the travel industry in addition to being enthusiastic, self motivated, having a professional manner and an aptitude for business.

We are looking for an individual who wishes to join an expanding Group Travel team.

If you are looking for an opportunity to service an array of major account clients within our busy environment, You will need to have no less than 2 years experience in handling all aspects of international travel arrangements including flights, hotels, car hire and other ancillaries.

Applicants should have knowledge of CRS systems, ideally World span and be IT literate. We are prepared to cross train from Sabre, Galileo etc.

You will also need to have an excellent telephone manner as our clients expect the best in service and pin point accuracy on all arrangements made. Good communication skills are very important as you will need to develop strong working relationships with clients, suppliers and your colleagues. This department functions very much as a team.
